Not only did Doug and Katie honor my mother in the process of picking up her body at our home, they even provided a beautiful wooded box for the funeral service at St. Bonaventure. It was perfect.

I called so many other places after my uncle passed away & all I had been met with was rudeness and unbelievable prices. I was so devastated and couldn’t call another place but I found their website and was immediately calmed by the face & voice on the video on the screen explaining the cremation service & the much more reasonable cost. Doug was a real person & I finally felt some relief. I called immediately & explained my difficulty situation & Doug drove from Plymouth to Weymouth right after we spoke & picked up my uncle from the hospital. I cannot tell you how many times I spoke with Doug, Katie,& Kristin- they never rushed me off of the phone, they gave me advice, they told me to take my time & take care of myself when I would be having such a difficult time grieving. My uncle raised me- he was more of a father & they understood that. Doug even brought me the ashes as a favor & gave me a huge hug when he handed them to me.nTogether, the people that give Bartlett Funeral Home its name do much more than funerals & cremations, they offer a wonderful support system.
