We used Shepard recently for my wife's funeral services. We were told up front that they would invoice the life insurance company and we didn't need to worry about anything. The day of my wife's funeral services they told my family members they want to be paid that day and demanded payment .nnMy wife passed away out of state and getting her death certificates has been like pulling teeth. They were mailed from the funeral home out of state to Shepard five days ago Shepard said they did not receive them today Friday. When I asked if they were open on Saturday and would go to check their mail to accommodate us They said they were busy with funerals and refused to accommodate us and now I have to wait till Monday.nnCannot express the amount of disappointment I have with this business mostly with their underhanded practices of demanding payment the day of my wife's funeral. If they say they're going to do something be profit and do as they said they would ,not pull a fast one on the bereaved.nnI wholeheartedly suggest you stay away from this establishment and find alternate means for your own peace of mind.
