My regular vet suggested coming here when I couldn't get in for an emergency visit with them. I asked my office to send records to Freeport to make things easier for the emergency team, as my cat frequently gets UTI's, so we have a history of treatments that have been successful. Even though this isn't a new issue it's still a potentially scary issue and the Freeport team was amazing. We discussed a plan of care, and I really felt that Dr. Wilson had my cat's best interest in mind. I have been to other emergency clinics where my animals were treated like a science experiment for veterinary students to practice on. This was not the case here!! I experienced a very knowledgeable and caring team!
Used for urgent care. Waited over 150 minutes. No way to sign up in a digital waiting line. Had to be done in person and waiting in the parking lot.nnCall first to see what the wait is. If you go first thing in the morning don't call them like they ask. Stalk the front door for the vet assistant. Followed the direction to call in cost me 5 spots back in line. People hanging out by the front door were provided service first.
They were great with Lucy! Not knowing what was wrong with her but needing her to be seen. I drove and hour to have her checked out as vets in my area had no openings. They got us in, checked her out and gave her what she needed to get better. I'll always recommend them!
I cannot say enough praise for the woman who performed emergency surgery on my cat yesterday. Not only is she incredibly talented and confident but she put me at ease with her calm demeanor and made me feel like my cat was definitely safe in her hands for such a major surgery. They also did everything they could to squeeze me in for surgery even though the clinic was overwhelmed with patients yesterday; just so I wouldn’t have to pay $4,000+ to have the surgery done in portland. I cannot say enough these vets saved my cat’s life. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
It is convenient to have a place to go when it is not possible to get an appointment anywhere. That being said, on a Tuesday morning the wait was about 2 hours, which is tough for both the pet and pet owner. The employees were all friendly and helpful on the phone.
