I yet need to be able to get a service from this veterinarian. I went by at 4 p.m. as a walking. It was 5:30 and I asked when was my turn. Then, they told me like two or three more patients for me to be next, but since it was after 5p.m., they charge extra fifty five dollar besides the consultation fee. Then, the charge for the future procedure. So, I decided to go another day. I know people recommends this place so I am eager to find out the care they will give to my pet. However, I now know I need to save because it will be expensive. And, my dog did not get check so I am very sad. I just wished Laredo had more vet clinics and affordable prices. All clinics are booked.
I took my guinea pig to get seen and it took 6 hours to get him seen. When he was finally seen the vet didn’t even run any kinds of tests on him like checked him with her stethoscope and just suggested “change his died”. Then I took him to another vet and turns out he was actually very sick with other things. So would not recommend some doctors there just want money and just hurry up the check up to get you out as fast as they can.
Absolutely love how this clinic functions! The doctors are so knowledgeable in regards to diagnosis and they explain the diagnosis or possible diagnosis to you thoroughly. The staff is so patient and caring that they take the time to put your safety and your pets safety by giving you the option of curbside, waiting in your vehicle until you are up next or waiting in the lobby/cat room to reduce covid exposure. In regards to wait time, I recommend an appointment. It may be long but once you are seen it makes the waiting time worth it due to their thorough explanation and excellent technician demonstration on how to medicate your pets at home. They always make sure that all my questions are answered and if I forget to ask something in the room I can always leave a message to the doctors and they’ll get back to me that same day. Overall, great experience and amazing staff! Highly recommend!!!
Critter Care Veterinary Clinic has been by far the best to see my pets. They are very attentive and answer all your questions they treat my pets as their own. If I had to recommend a veterinarian to a friend or family member it would be Dr. Leyendecker. This veterinary clinic has saved one of my dogs lives I couldn’t be more grateful!!
I decided to bring my pets here when I was given poor, inadequate service from another veterinary clinic sometime in 2019 and it was the best decision I could've made. Not only are the staff always pleasant and willing to help, the doctors here are supportive, caring and nurturing. I love my fur babies very much and that includes giving them the best care.
