I started using Dr. Read back in 1988, when she was Dr. Roberts and was the lone vet, in a location in a strip center down the road from where Tara Animal Hospital is located today. She was the perfect veterinarian then, as are she and her colleagues today. From clinic staff, to all of the docs, I have never had anything but professional, warm and empathetic, treatment from all. I moved away for 8 years and was so happy to move back to the same area, so I didn’t have to drive a long way when my fur babies needed treatment. Believe me, I would have driven however far I needed, as it is easier for me to go to a new doctor or dentist, than it is to a new vet. Peace of mind is invaluable.
I will always come to this vet from now on!they are sympathetic and understanding. I feel like they really care for the pets and the pet parents. The staff is wonderful! Rowdy and my pug Ernie are clients and my mom takes both her pugs there as well. I definitely recommend.
I was referred to Tara Animal Hospital by my friends daughter. It is a little far from us but after the first visit its worth the drive. All the staff is so genuine and great with Beau! He recently we to a per urgent care and I got a call the next morning from staff at Tara checking on him. They are thorough and informative. We really love taking Beau there and trust them with is health. Thanks ladies!!!!
This place is amazing! We had an emergency situation where our puppy was having a severe allergic reaction to a penny that she somehow swallowed. They saw her right away and took great care of her. If it wasn’t for them I would have to say that we would have probably lost our precious little Angel. Turns out if dogs swallow a penny they can get zinc poisoning, who would have known. I highly recommend this place. The staff and the doctors are amazing! Side note, we keep no change in the house now lol. We love TARA ANIMAL HOSPITAL!!!!
The doctors and staff at Tara Animal Hospital have been so great to us in the short time our dog has been a patient with them. We have had some medical scares recently and they have fit us into the see the doctor without any questions asked. The staff really listened to our concerns and discussed the treatment suggestions thoroughly. Many vets will just shove treatments (and costs$$$) down your throat and not discuss the reasons, but the docs at Tara Animal Hospital have taken time to review and answer all of our questions. We can't thank you enough for your care and support of our beloved fur baby!
