Amazing place. This is now my new family pet clinic. I absolutely love everything from the receptionist to the vet techs all the way to the doctor. If you're looking for a place that will take Amazing care of your sick pet, here is the place. I promise you won't be disappointed in these people.
The facility is very clean. The staff is very Nice. The doctor is great. They also have boarding.
Worst cat nurturing experience ever. Never recommend
Dr. Closes’ negligence and inattention to patient history had him make a grave mistake on his treatment plan, causing our dog to die an early death. If we had to go through the same plan, then we would have, but we as patients deserve the right to know the risks. You, Deric Closs, did not tell us the risks, and we blindly followed your orders. If we had known to watch the risks, if you had made sure to tell us what we were getting into, a life could’ve been saved and/or we wouldn’t be in such shock and trauma as we are now.nnWe have been a Client for some many years. You have gravely disappointed us. You have gravely disserviced us.nnYes our dog had a terminal illness. But she could’ve survived it for months; but she didn’t survive the diagnosis because of your neglectful care and neglectful treatment.
How funny is it that Dr. Closs tried to delete my review? Only a dishonest man tries to hide hide his mistakes.nnCloss, you have caused my family an insufferable amount of pain by not telling us the risks of SubQ on heart disease. I wasted a week of time trying to seek closure from the pain you caused. I am suffering when you are the one to blame from your careless treatment plan.nnYou knew she had heart murmur, and if you actually cared about your patients, you would have reviewed her patient history to know that her murmur is at risk. And yet, you still prescribed that much fluids for her. I had no idea heart and kidney diseases are incompatible because you neglected to tell me. The least you could’ve done was tell me the risks SubQ has on heart patients, but you were lazy and did not review her patient history.nnDr Closs’ care is irresponsible. He never makes any notes during examination, and he does not check history before making a treatment plan.nnDr. Closs, I understand that my pup had a terminal illness, and that she would eventually succumb to it. That being said, even if my dog were to succumb in the SAME EXACT WAY that she did, it would have helped my family and me SO MUCH if we had known the RISKS so that it wouldn’t have been so shocking and so traumatic. If we had known the risks, we would have prepared for the worst.nnDr. Closs, I am not angry at your for doing what you thought was best. I am angry at you for not reviewing her patient history, not assessing the risks, and not telling us the risks. It is highly irresponsible, and now you are trying to cower from it by deleting my review. The public deserves to know.nnIf you had assessed her history, you wouldn’t have made the mistake of prescribing an overdosed amount that would eventually be the cause of her death.nn—nOn top of not mentioning the risks to me, he did not tell me to look out for signs of cardiac failure when self-administrating SubQ, but he didn’t care to mention it to me.nnAny healthcare professional should tell their patients the risk they are taking before a treatment. It isn't my responsibility as a patient / client to know that. I only found out that I was drowning her heart when I rushed her to the emergency vet after a month of your SubQ recommendations.nnAfter a month of doing your treatment plan, Dr. Closs, is when I found out heart disease and kidney disease are very hard to treat together. You could’ve at least told me to be very careful about it.nnWhen SL Specialist Vet Clinic suggested diagnostic testing, I consulted with Dr. Closs before going through.nnYou then called me “cruel” for wanting to undo the damage you’ve done to her and “selfish” for not putting her down.nnNo vet should ever gaslight their patient into doing something. As a first time dog owner, putting my baby down is such a hard decision. Fortunately for me, I was able to speak to a different clinic who gave me time, empathy, and space, not using emotional manipulation to pressure me.nnThe tragic irony is, you are the cruel and selfish one, Dr. Closs, for recommending a treatment plan that was slowly drowning her heart, ultimately causing her to go into heart failure.nnConsidering I have been a client for so many years, Dr. Closs is extremely mean-spirited for calling me “cruel and selfish” for wanting to save my dog, a dog with a condition he didn’t treat but worsened by his carelessness towards her heart murmur.nnDr. Closs was very unknowledgeable about medications and supplements for CKD with Heart murmur. After I asked him questions about supplements, he completely ghosted me. He still does not dare to face me because of his conscious.nnMy family and I are now in deep pain. After being a patient with you for so many years, I feel extremely cheated and disappointed and hurt by your negligence.
