I would highly recommend this company to anyone and I have with many friends and family. The owner is a fine man with upstanding morals and he has such compassion for everyone that walks through his doors. Point blank he is a God fearing man, and stands for truth and honesty and he expects no less from the fine people who work with him.

As the owner of a local funeral home in Virginia, we depend on businesses in other states to help us care for our families loved ones. Having just used Global to help us with the embalming and transport to the airport, I would never use them again or recommend any other funeral professional use them. The man who passed was a former retired minister from our area, and a kind sweet man. When I opened the shipping tray, I was surprised to find he was embalmed with his mouth opened, with no needle injectors/dental ties or mandibular sutures. He had no plastic goods on, was naked, and exposed to his upper thighs. Every day I care for people with respect, and Global has shown they do not. Very unhappy.

If I could give this place ZERO stars I definitely would. I hope you do you research before going through them OR Texas Science Care to donate your loved ones organs. Yes, they work together. Are you aware that they are apart of a scandal? They switched bodies before, look it up it was on the news & I had no idea until I started researching. Why out of no where, would I research them AFTER my mother’s body was already there? Because for 2-3 weeks NO ONE answered the phone, NO ONE emailed me back. Come to find out through an EMAIL, my mother’s body sat too long & her organs were NOT USABLE ANYMORE. So she sat & DECOMPOSED & no one had an answer as to WHYYYYYY. Fast forward to the next day after I found out, I met with a new funeral home (Church Angels in Fort Worth AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING PEOPLE). I called Global to let them know to have my mother’s body ready, that another home was coming to get her. THEY COULDNT FIND HER IN THEIR SYSTEM. Finally. They said they would talk to someone named Denise to try and figure out why they couldn’t find her. This Denise lady is the very one who I was supposed to be in contact with and yet, never heard from her. If you can choose any other place PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DO. You couldn’t begin to explain the horror that these people have put us through! Horrible horrible horrible. I hope the lawsuit about switching bodies turns into them getting shut down because this is not okay!!!!!! None of this is okay!!!!!! These people should be ABSOLUTELY ASHAMED.

Worked here for several months . And let me tell you something . I would not recommend this for anybody looking for work or for anybody needing services for their loved ones. The embalmer Frank is a pervert. He took pictures of my butt and the owner David Patterson did nothing about it. I was also told he was known for this and because he’s an embalmer and the owner has known him for 10+ years, IT IS OK FOR THAT BEHAVIOR. Instead the owner changed my shift to answer phones and sit all day. Wes Hart is a total douche and doesn’t care for families. Always cursing about something. Or just sitting in the back smoking cigarettes. Karla was nice but got on to you if something doesn’t go the way it should. The freezer room is absolutely disgusting and terrible. Dry blood on the wood planks and it smells. Surprised that they haven’t been fined for this. Towards the end of my employment the whole staff did not receive ANY check stubs for up to 5 payrolls, we only received hand written checks. I left in September. I have yet to receive them.nBy the way I will not say any names BUT an embalmer there embalms without GLOVES . I was also told by an employee that they gave an embalming job to one of the drivers to do a job on a baby. That the job was horrible!!!! The driver was fired for gossiping about people too much , her name was Geraldine. And had no knowledge of embalming. I was also not offered the vaccine that every mortuary facility is supposed to offer for FREE. Nor has any employee EVER seen the Employee Hand Book. I did not even sign anything at the time of employment. I will be placing my sexual harassment claim against frank and the business very soon.nnSo if you want your loved one to leave with dignity and be taken care of with the respect that they deserve DO NOT GO HERE. There was a reason why they were taken off the preceptors list for Dallas Institute of Funeral Services.
