Closed for no reason? Need to get over COVID already and open back up..
I am a veterinary student that knows proper surgery and patient/owner procedures. I took my cat in this morning to get neutered thinking I could trust the staff. They did not make him sterile for surgery, gave them a flea medication that he's allergic too because they did not ask if he was allergic to anything and tattooed his ear without letting me know beforehand. I understand that tattooing after a spay or neuter is common but not letting the owner know before that you're going to slit their animals ear during surgery is completely inappropriate.
I’m very disappointed in Furry Friends. I have Been using this vet since July when I got A new puppy. I have Spent $788 since July at this vet due to my French bulldogs digestive issues. Dr S recommended the Hills rx food earlier this month which I purchased to try. I found the larger 25 lb bag online that was much more affordable but Furry Friends refuses to give me a rx for it even though I paid For their services and appt because they stock it and sell it. They only stock and sell the small bag. It’s ridiculous that they refused to give me a written rx for what they recommended and it was a really poor decision they made because they have lost all of my business now over a dog food purchase. I’m really disappointed in Furry Friends.
I'm truly greatfull to the office staff who are very knowledgeable and courteous. The Dr takes his time to explain and educate on any medical issue our pets encounter. Office is always very clean. They also offer grooming and boarding.
They saved my dog from parvo!! The doctor was amazing and the lady up front was very sweet! I've never felt so welcomed at a vet office. They were amazing with my dog! Definitely will be recommending to my friends!!
