I had my cat spayed. She did excellent. The staff were friendly and it was reasonably priced. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is that they currently don't allow us in with our pets. I understand it is due to covid. But I prefer to be present during exams (ie the follow up).
Not sure if this place is going downhill or has always been this bad. My experience last week let me know to never use Lakewood vet Clinic.nnLast week, I had the worst customer service from a vet tech named Roxie. She was so rude and condescending after I handed my pet over, that while filling out the forms, I had to ask for my pet back.nnNot only is Roxie unprofessional, she went back inside, and proceeded to get the front desk girls worked up. They pointed fingers and rolled their heads, talking at me through the sliding glass door, as if I could hear them and it was a reality show.nnWhile tolerating this scene of immaturity to get my pet back, I called Temple Vet, explained my situation and was told to come straight in. No condescension, no immaturity. Just great customer service, professionalism, and ultimately care for my pet.nnThough my experience with Lakewood was horribly draining and time consuming, it made me realize how good the other veterinarian clinics in our area truly are (ie. Belton Small Animal, and Temple Veterinary Hospital). Thankfully they are just as close, and much, much friendlier.nnSave your energy and lower your stress level during these COVID times, and just avoid this place altogether. You and your pet can have better.
I absolutely love this vet and recommend them to everyone I know. They always take such good care of my fur babies. I definitely trust them, and love the care they show.
My dog was treated very well, I had a very good experience despite the strict coronavirus restrictions. I would have preferred to come inside with my dog but I am happy because the professional care by Dr. Jensen was excellent.
Even during current circumstances in our society and medical realm today, Lakewood Veterinary Center employees made the process for my little guy being snipped, tremendously simple. There were no headaches or second guessing them at all. When it came to cost$, I didn't have to lose an organ or limb to pay for his treatment, so to speak. Diezel (my pup) and myself were both equally treated with respect, kindness and assisted in every way possible. THANK YOU TEAM!!
