Looking for a last-minute birthday gift, I came by the bakery. The assistant had me walking away with a lovely fruit tart neatly boxed and personalized for Birthday Boy. Excellent product and excellent service. A memorable visit!
The butchers are fraudulently mis-labeling their ground chuck. It is whatever they have scraps of and as long as it is 80/20 fat content, they call it ground chuck. Have to wonder what is in those packages. This was admitted to me by two different butchers there. I contacted store HQ and basically was told, no they are not doing that. So apparently the whole chain is in on this scam.
Currently, they are reformatting this location, but it's not a big deal as far as maneuverability around the store. Looks like an epic renovation!
Why does every Wilmington/Leland area Harris Teeters seafood counter smells horrible. Managers should take a look at Publix and how they display their seafood and clean the area. Presentation matters!!!
Harris Teeter is great. Always very clean, neat and orderly. Staff is helpful and friendly.
