Not sure about the ones that are giving 2 stars. But my family always uses this funeral home and we have always been giving the best service. Plus she is the only place out of all the other funeral homes that take there time to make the deceased look like themselves. I recommend them to anyone.

Losing a loved one is crushing, so when my family lost our beloved mother we entrusted her to Lisa Scott Funeral Home. We could not have been more pleased. Lisa and her staff handled our loved one and us with the upmost care. Lisa has the right amount of customer service skills when dealing with families who are grieving and may not always be easy to deal with.nnLisa's ability to listen, be compassionate, and have empathy as well being able to communicate accurate and clear information to help with the planning of services were greatly appreciated.nnI must admit I was disheartened to see some negative reviews on this funeral home and cannot help but wonder what is the other side of the story?nnMy family would highly recommend Lisa and her staff to a family who has lost a loved one.

In a time where you expect a business of this type to operate with the utmost respect I can’t help but be horrified. I overheard their representative cursing out a friend of mine who is undergoing the task of preparing to bury a love one. Completely disgusted. I wouldn’t even recommend this place bury their own loved ones. Whoever their phone representative is needs to have a lesson in compassion.

I lost a loved one unexpectedly in a matter of days. I flew out from Florida to spend the few moments of life left with them before losing them forever. I reached out to this establishment thinking during such a troubling time for me and my family that the services and care from this funeral home would be the comfort we needed. However, I am utterly disgusted, have been disrespected and truly find this establishment and those who work here to be the lowest display of human kind on this earth. Never have me nor any of my family ever had to deal with a more incomprehensible staff of people in all the years of my life. Especially during such a time when the loss of life of a dear loved is already hard enough to grasp with. I will never tell a single soul to even consider this place as a viable business. The staff is rude and I mean it’s a mystery unto how anyone here was ever put in a position to even be in this line of work. I tried to work with the staff and ask questions concerning certain services and constantly ridiculed. I have never felt so bullied from a group of people claiming to be a service to people. My last conversation after I just could not allow the savage behavior anymore I stated I no longer wanted to use their services because of their cruel and demeaning ways. I find this place despicable and their staff unbelievably horrible. Please be warned of these wicked people who take pleasure in taking advantage of people at their possibly hardest time. Do not give them your time nor money.

At a time like this, and for the type of establishment this is, you would think that after 20 years, the staff here would be experienced in demonstrating respect and professionalism to a grieving family.nnWho would ever think with all that is happening in the world today, that, a first responder/essential worker who is risking their own life to save lives would endure such disrespect while grieving for the lost of a loved one. You do not have to pay anything to show respect, humility, and compassion to others.nnRemember to treat others the you want to be treated.
