This is the best veterinarian I have ever had in all my years of pet companionship. The staff is always pleasant and helpful and the doctors are extremely knowledgeable and resourceful. Dr. Pence does most of my pet care as she specializes in reptiles. She is very compassionate and caring with both the pet and owner and always does what’s best for the pet. Amazing care, amazing staff.

I have a lot of experience going to this vet and would recommend them for any type of exotic. They really do try their best to care for your pet but are realistic with animals who are past the point of saving. Prices are comparable to a cat/dog vet so very reasonable imo. Sometimes wait times can be long but that's because they accept emergencies throughout the day which can back up the schedule.nnEdit to add: extremely sympathetic to losses. Sent me a lovely card with a passed ferret's nose print.

2 vet visits, 3 weeks, and a thousand dollars later, my daughter is left with a dead bunny right before Easter. Thanks a lot guys. Originally, bunny was brought in for a simple dental procedure about 3 weeks ago. After returning home, she never was quite right and progressively was getting worse. Started having problems with discharge in eyes, balance issues, and wouldn’t raise one of her ears. So, my daughter brought her back. After running tests and keeping her for two days- she was probably so terrified the whole time- my daughter returned to pick her up. They told her she was angry and wouldn’t go back into her carrier so they sedated her. More like OVERLY-SEDATED. She never moved again. She died about 8 hours later after returning home, still heavily sedated, and unable to move. Sad end to loving rabbit. She had been with us for 8 years. She was family. What began as a simple dental procedure ultimately ended up with death.

Love this crew. They will make house calls so there is no stress involved. Very thorough and caring, they took time with each Finch, checking each out. Each time I've dealt with Avian, nothing but praise. Thank you!

What wonderful staff here. I can’t say enough nice things. They are very knowledgeable and sweet. They took great care of my sun conure Petrie while he was there and I was patiently and nervously waiting outside. They kept me up to date the entire time and They are easy to get to. I definitely recommend them to anyone with a bird, reptile, or bunny for sure.
