Banfield Pet Hospital

The vet is always knowledgeable about my doberman and they give me the best recommendations for her. They staff is also very good about letting me know what my two dogs are due for. My only issue is I can never get my dogs in for an emergency appointment same day. This is more of a place just for vaccines and all that. But its great and convenient to be able to shop at petsmart and bring the dogs for their vet care.

Took my dog in for a cough that developed suddenly. It was a Sunday and my normal vet was closed. Spent 30 minutes there for a $50 office visit fee and a recommendation to go see my vet when they reopen. They did say the could do X-rays but said they were $200-$300, they didn’t know how much the X-rays would cost. It’s a massive red flag when the people providing the service can’t tell you what it will cost. The vet who came out to give me the information had no badge or identification to even prove that she was able to practice.

The vist and the ladies at the front desk was great. I have tried for several weeks to get a prescription filled for my Baer and still have not been able to get one.nI have called several times and was told the prescription was submitted to chewy but that did not happen. CHEWY said they are having problems with Banfield sending over prescription.

The entire staff was amazing, especially the practice manager Mallory. I felt so comfortable leaving my baby Dora with them. Dora is my entire world, and I am always worried when it comes to her being away from me. Yall won my trust and loyalty for life. My black Labra-Dora thanks yall!

Banfield refuses to call-in our prescription medication prescribed by themselves for our dog so we can administer it.nnOur 40 lb. dog is suppose to be given 3/4 of a tablet of PHENOBARBITAL every 12 hours to control seizures.nnOur dog has been on this medicine his entire life, as he is now 9 years old.nnEvery time the prescription needs refilling, Banfield Hospital’s Dr. Brandon and/or his staff DOES NOT RESPOND to our requests for refills.nnEvery time I have to beg and plead for them to call CVS on Zack Hinton Pkwy. to get it filled.nnIt is NOT SUPPOSE TO RUN OUT, and it is not suppose to be skipped. Banfield has created a huge lapse in our ability to administer this drug.nnEvery 6 months this happens, but we somehow get trapped in Banfield’s pit of hell and our dog suffers. He spent 2 hours laying on me shaking yesterday.nnI have called Banfield repeatedly over the last 2 weeks for them to call-in their prescription, and each time they fail to follow through.nnI have gone to CVS repeatedly to pick it up and it has YET TO BE CALLED IN.nnWoodland Animal Hospital is going to be our transfer-to hospital.nnDr. Brandon is a failure and has never gotten this fairly simple task completed without a gross lapse in time.nnI called again yesterday, and the person on the phone sounded sympathetic and caring, and assured me that it would be called in. This morning, 26 hours later, I called CVS and it again has not been called in.nnI have no recourse other than to write this review as HORRIBLE. HORRIBLE!!
