Dr. Craig and her staff are absolutely wonderful. We have been taking our pets to her for nearly 15 years. She and her staff genuinely care about our pets. Dr. Craig goes above and beyond what is necessary if needed to treat your fur babies. We can't say enough. We are thankful for Lake Dow Animal Hospital.

Our sweet cat needed some teeth pulled, and they took great care of him! The discharge notes were helpful, and the time they took to ensure we understood was wonderful. He needed a small amount of after-care the following week, and their team was on it. I would highly recommend Lake Dow Animal Hospital.

Dr. Craig and her staff helped my family when we needed help and could not figure out what to do. Our dog was injured on a Monday and we took him to a different vet who, when finished examining our dog, declared that he was fit to continue to live but needed much rest (despite the fact that I pointed out some concerns I had that seemed obvious to me). Well, three days later our dog was not eating or drinking because his body was unable to function properly due to the injuries sustained by his accident. I tried to contact the original vet several times expressing my concerns as they arose however, we were neglected. I contacted Lake Dow’s office to see if they would be able to look at our dog’s condition in hopes of him getting relief and improving. Even though the staff may have been tired, and it was a rainy day (the staff had to come out to see the people in their cars due to COVID restraints) they really tried to be thorough, pleasant, and accommodating (we left their office well after their closing hours). It turns out that the original veterinary doctor failed to see (despite me pointing out what seemed obvious to me) the enormous negative impact that the accident had on our dog. He should have been put to sleep on the day of his accident, but sadly he suffered three more days (humans make mistakes all the time including me, and it just is so unfortunate when our oversights cause others pain). Dr. Craig and her staff at Lake Dow Vet gave us a more thorough understanding and helped us make the difficult but necessary decision to put our dog to rest so he didn’t live in pain anymore. I really appreciated her kind but honest evaluation and the fact that their office did not price gouge my daughter (as it was my daughter’s beloved dog). There are no perfect people, but I sincerely appreciate their compassion and I really felt like they tried to put themselves in our shoes and do for us what they would have liked to have done for them. They even went a step further and offered my daughter an impression of our dog’s footprint as a sentimental gift to help her recover from her grief as she remembered all the blessings he brought into her life and ours as well. People are so imperfect (at times) in life but when people try to bless others it really makes the hard times allot easier to navigate through. I really appreciated the kindness and love they shared with us at a difficult time.

I have been using this vets office for atleast 13 years. There is a reason we continue using them. They are great with our dogs and very nice employees and they are very good at keeping us informed on every little detail
