Another review said the exact same thing but...nnThey are great for scheduled routine visits. When it comes to emergencies, they seem to not care at all. My dog threw up all through out the night and then started throwing up blood in the morning and they could not fit her in to there schedule and asked if I wanted to set up an appointment a week and a half away.nnI ended up taking her to Blue Pearl vet since it was a Saturday and then, Monday, my dog was starting to get sick again. Called. They didn’t even answer.nnWe ended up switching to Tree House animal clinic and they fit her in the same day and took excellent care of her!

What can I say, I love this place. My baby Georgia suffers from anxiety, stress and she is aggressive. Even though all that, they make her feel so comfortable here. Dr. Rottersman and her team are the best. They take care of our pets, understand our concerns and always take the right decisions.n100% recommended.

If you are looking for a veterinary clinic that provides quality care both during regularly scheduled appointments and potential emergency situations, this is NOT the place for you.nnMy husband and I recently moved to the area and have been looking for a vet that we feel like genuinely cares about the well being our our two dogs. Price is one factor we evaluate, but level of care is what we value most. We have had two appointments with Dr. Ponce at Windy Hill Vet and during the appointments have felt that our concerns (allergies & general questions) have been addressed and adequate service has been provided.nnHOWEVER, today I contacted Windy Hill Vet to speak with Dr. Ponce because our Labrador ate an entire bag of dog food and was exhibiting signs of severe bloat and lethargy. I was told by one of the receptionists who said she spoke with Dr. Ponce, that the doctor was double booked and would not see our dog. Furthermore, there was no inquiry about her symptoms, there was no offer to get her an appointment with another doctor at the clinic, there was no offer to refer her to a doctor at a different clinic, there was no level of care or concern given. Period. I was completely dismissed and told if I “really felt” it was an emergency I could “consider” taking her to an emergency vet clinic (and of course, pay double the price of a normal vet).nnI am so thankful that I went with my gut and got her in with a completely new vet (who was also booked for the day). This vet, who wasn’t even our dog’s primary, got her in within an hour of us calling and gave our girl the care and attention she deserved, even with a full schedule. She was diagnosed with extreme dehydration and bloating which could have been deadly, had I acted as passively as the technician that took my call.nnIf you are looking to establish a relationship with a vet that provides peace of mind that your animal will be given the highest level of care (even when you may not have called 3 weeks in advance to get an appointment), I warn you- this is not the place for you.nnCumberland Animal Clinic and Cobb Parkway Emergency & Referral came through for our family when we needed it most and we couldn’t be more grateful.

My cat, Myrtle, has to get regular ultrasounds and the vet I work for doesn't offer in house ultrasounds. When I asked around for recommendations, Windy Hill Veterinary Hospital was highly recommended. I first brought Myrtle to Windy Hill around April/May of this year and have been going about every month or two. The first few visits, we saw Dr. Hunter. The last few, we have seen Dr. Ponce. Both are excellent, knowledgeable, kind doctors, who I strongly recommend. They are also good with my Myrtle. With doctors other than the ones I work with, she usually gets a feline herpes flare up(triggered by stress). She has never had a flare up after a visit here. Their support staff is also amazing. I think the thing that supports my claim most is I never feel nervous about bringing Myrtle here and trust both the doctors we have seen and the supportive staff to appropriately handle her without my assistance. I am extremely overprotective of Myrtle due to the severity of the illnesses she has been through while also being immunocompromised, so this means a lot! Something also important to note is they are ranked Cat Friendly by the AAFP, which cat owners know is important! All this being said, I highly recommend Windy Hill Veterinary Hospital, especially Dr. Ponce and Dr. Hunter! Thanks, you all! We will see you all sometime soon!

Was super excited to bring my dog here, as it was close to my home and had good reviews. Too bad my dog was never seen because the lady scheduled my appointment wrong and she never apologized or took ownership for doing so nor did anyone there make an attempt to accommodate my dog. I confirmed with the lady several times while on phone the date and time. I keep a strict schedule; I record dates both electronically and in a written planner. I scheduled my whole day around making sure I got to this appointment because of concerns about my dog’s eyes. Mind you Bailey (believe that’s her name) finally called me back (while I’m still sitting in their parking lot in disbelief of the whole situation) and she says, “you were scheduled for Monday December 7th @ 4PM. First off, in my profession Monday is the most hectic day for me, so no chance I would ever schedule anything on a Monday, especially towards end of the year. I felt push to the side like my business wasn’t even wanted and no concern about my dog well-being.
