I have a dog that has high anxiety. She doesn’t cower but instead goes on the defensive and it makes me very nervous when taking her to new places. We had our first visit this morning and everyone was beyond kind and made me feel like my dog would be no issue and that she was welcomed regardless. They told me she did really well (which is uncommon in first vet visits for us) and were very helpful with action plans to help my dog feel more calm in day to day life. I am thrilled!! If I could hug these people I would!!! Erin was wonderful!! And so was Dr. M. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Kindness and open ears/hearts goes a long way.

I love coming to Paces Ferry Veterinary Clinic because your staff is first rate. Dr. Minicozzi has taken such great care of my cat, Scrappy, who is over 19 years old. Ryan is an amazing veterinary tech. He always keeps Scrappy at ease when he is having tests. I appreciate all of Ryan and Dr. Minicozzi's efforts to keep Scraps healthy and happy. Without them he would not have lived this long. They have been with us through think and thin. They really care. I also love coming to the clinic and getting a warm welcome from Janet. If you need a new Vet don't look any further than Paces Ferry Veterinary Clinic!!!! Can't believe it's been over 20 years since I started coming there.

I called them this week to schedule an allergy shot for my dog they asked me how much she weighed and I said she typically ranges between 39 to like 42 pounds. She said there was a 30-40 pound and a 10 pound both costing 52 and some change. I said I'll just go through her vet if they want to charge for both. She said if she's under 45 they'll give her just the forty and I could come back. Well I get there and they take the dog to the back and she weighed 41 pounds. Instead of asking me if they wanted to do both shots they took it upon themselves to charge both instead of asking. Don't lie to people to get business and just up charge them.

We did curbside pickup and my pet was terrified without us being there (which is not the vet's fault in any way) but after checking on him they clipped his nails without asking our permission even though he's shaking and terrified the whole time. He had a traumatizing experience and is still recovering from it. If you see a pet being scared, DON'T TERRIFY HIM FURTHER BY CLIPPING HIS NAILS which is totally unnecessary. The doctor was nice and patient so my rating does not reflect on the doctors but we will never go back.

Love this place!!! They helped fit us in last minute when our cat was having some worrying issues. Totally made us feel comfortable and at ease during a very stressful time. Was worried about what the price would be given the location, but I find that it's pretty in line with other places and the service is definitely top notch!
