My golden needed both her knees operated on, tho 2 different surgeons did them, they did an excellent job, shes only 5.5 and runs around like she never had surgery. I recently switched my other, older golden and my cat over to them. They are very nice and extremely professional. Its a bit of a drive for me, but worth it!

The quality of care is perfectly fine and the staff is entirely cordial. However the price gouging is ridiculous. For a simple visit with blood work and basic antibiotic, which when i lived in NY costed around 190$ expensive but worth it. Ended up being just over 600$. None of the pricing is discussed they phrase it as basics which end up being exorbitantly expensive. My dog ended up having lyme which was diagnosed through a simple blood test and the medication alone when priced out online was a 250% mark up. We all want our pets to be healthy and will pay to do so i just do not take kindly to being taken advantage of without being given much cheaper alternatives. I am a RN and this type of business practice with humans would be an atrocity.

Very kind and considerate. The whole staff really cares about animals and their owners. They are always there when you need them. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants a vet that doesn’t rush you through your appointment.

I love townsend even when we moved we still decided to stick with them, even though it was a 30 minute longer commute and there are tons of vets closer. We went to one vet for our kitty Steve and he was sick and we never knew. One day I brought him to townsend because I knew something wasn’t right.. however it was too late. They did everything they good. Dr Bilotta(I think) worked so well with Steve to try and fix the damage. She came in on her day off to put Steve down because she worked him for a week the tech in the room showed so much love and compassion for us as well. She was so sweet. We bring Bubbles and Hamilton there(our ferrets) and Dr Sue is beyond amazing with them. They are very hard to take care of and treat but Sue goes above and beyond with them and gives them love. They also get tons of attention when they get their because they don’t see many and it really makes us and the ferrets feel special. Dr. BJ made sure they had the right vaccines for them as well and ordered them for us. We now take all our animals there. They are far from expensive. The staff is amazing and remembers us just by our pets name. I worry a lot about my animals and they are very patient with me, and let me email them whenever I have a question or concern. I recommend everyone to them. I have never felt more comfortable with a vet before and with the staff. I adore townsend and the staff. I could keep going on about how amazing they are but they know that cause I tell them every visit. Thank you townsend for being amazing and loving my animals like your own.
