Good people

I had missed my initial appointment and these people were very understanding and rescheduled me THE SAME DAY later on, although they were busy. Awesome service, my pet and I thank them!

Series of harmful, negative events:n1. I was laughed at on the phone when I asked if any same-day emergency appointments were still available.n2. At the scheduled appointment (6 days later), nobody collected a history of present illness. Because of COVID restrictions, my cat was taken from me and I was told paperwork would be brought out to my car. No paperwork came, and I received no updates until I called 20 minutes later.n3. Dr. Sullivan pronounced my cat's name incorrectly, never introduced herself, and made alarming and condescending comments about my cat's health without making eye contact with me. She expressed no empathy and showed no compassion at any point.n4. She recommended $400 worth of labs that did not fit my cat's clinical picture. Her differential diagnosis was purely based on my cat's age, without taking into account her entire clinical history.n5. She was unable to explain simple medical concepts, such as dehydration causing acute kidney injury. She fixated on a single abnormal lab value and did not address or provide recommendations for any other concerns I had.n6. She gave my cat four times the maximum volume of subcutaneous fluid any other veterinarian recommends -- close to the volume doctors give humans who are 20x my cat's weight. I never consented to the amount.n7. I was never provided an after visit summary documenting my cat's physical exam findings, nor was I told if if her mouth was examined, despite her history of dental surgery and recent difficulty chewing (which they never asked about).n8. In the end, I was charged $250 for a traumatizing experience that was more harmful than helpful to both me and my cat. I would never return to this veterinarian, call with questions, or recommend her to anyone.

These guys were absolutely amazing about taking care of my cat. Will definitely be returning for any and all future needs.
