When our 12-year-old dog became suddenly very sick we took her to Blue Valley because her regular vet was closed, but it’s a decision we will always regret. They took x-rays and ran some bloodwork but kept her for 36 hours, doing nothing else other than give her several drugs without determining what was actually wrong with her. They said more than once that her blood work looked “ok” but we later found out there were 3 readings that indicated there was definitely something wrong with her liver! When they sent her home she was heavily sedated but even sicker than when we left her there. We immediately took her to her regular vet who took the time and effort to diagnose her problem and determine she needed surgery right away. Nilla made it through the surgery but died a short time later because the damage had progressed too far. While we can’t be certain those 36 hours wasted at Blue Valley were the difference between life and death for Nilla, they certainly made her last few days more miserable than they needed to be. And it was definitely a waste of $545.
Currently here with my pupper now. They are amazing! Have treated my dog just like family and are so sweet trying to make her anxiety lessen. Highly recommend!!
Its was very friendly place great service fast and the information was great on how soon shots needed to be given I recommend this place
