My family has taken our pets here for several years now, and had nothing but good experiences. They have always treated our pets like they were their own and gave them lots of love and patience during their visits. It’s clear they care a lot for all the furry creatures that walk through their door. The veterinarians are wonderful at explaining everything that they think needs to be done and answering all our questions.nnWhen I got my first dog it was a no-brainer that he was going to go to this clinic!
I had a health emergency with my dog (an elderly pit mix) while on an outer island, and the staff at Camden Hospital for Animals did everything they could to accommodate me despite being booked up. The vet techs and the doctor were very kind and knowledgeable, and did everything they could to lessen my dog’s discomfort. They were also practical and honest about the best way forwards with treatment. All in all, they made a difficult time much easier for me and my pet due to their kindness and professionalism.
I have a cat that was in bad shape and needed to be seen on a Friday afternoon, I called every vet I could find online and this was one of the last ones I called. They said im sorry we don't have any openings but asked what was wrong. After giving a brief description of his condition they said u bring him right over and just as soon as someone has a spare minute they will look at him, u might have to leave him for a bit. I got there and they took him right in and treated him, they came out and discussed every step of the way what they were doing and letting me decide which options. They were very polite and respectfuI. I would highly recommend them to anyone! U can tell they really truly care about the animals they treat and take pride in their work
Terrible customer service. No care instructions or follow up provided for pets. When I complained the response was “we’re too busy”.
The staff is super friendly and accommodating! I am a travel nurse and was up here with my dog. I found out his vaccinations were out of date before a trip into Canada. They squeezed me in for an appointment and the technicians were very sweet and kind to my puppy! I highly recommend them to anyone needing a gentle, friendly touch for any animal's needs.
