Doan & Mills Funeral Home

My Mother passed recently and David Lydick and his staff at Doan and Mills provided a professional, timely and quality service that paid tribute not only to my Mother's wishes but also her survivors. The family came from all over the US and Doan and Mills made the decision making process very simple and accommodated our choices throughout. I thank them for their attention to detail and their understanding.

On September 17, 2020 my great Uncle Junior Wiesehan was returned home from WWII after being missing for 77 years. I worked with David from Doan & Mills for over a year to make all the arrangements for his return home. My Great Uncle was originally to come home in April, but due to COVID we had to postpone, but Doan & Mills made all the calls and we set the new date. There were many obstacles in our way, but David and Doan & Mills helped us get through each and every one of them. I personally cannot thank David and Doan & Mills enough for all they did for my family and for helping bring home and honoring my Great Uncle.

Doan and mills funeral home has done nothing but good for my family this past week. My grandfather past away Saturday and they handled his funeral arrangements and did nothing but take care of our family. Words can’t describe how thankful my family and myself are for them and how professional and caring they are. I want to personally than each member of the staff for being so gracious and caring for our family.

I cannot thank the staff at Doan & Mills enough for what they did for our family. You can tell that they genuinely care and they want to help. You can sit down with them and they will take the time to listen and answer your questions honestly. Often times, I have found funeral homes will nickle and dime you for everything and take advantage of you during a devastating loss, Doan & Mills is not one of those places. Even after the funeral, after everything, they provide you with sources to help you grieve, a service that goes beyond a simple pamphlet. Most places simply hand you a bill and say sorry for your loss, Doan&Mills cares about your families well being and that means a lot. Again, I would like to thank David and the staff at Doan & Mills.
