Flowers are healthy and there are plenty to pick from in each variety. Several. Staff is very quick to offer assistance. Prices are medium to just a little high but appropriate for the plant quality.

Short notice night before order for a floral arrangement can sometimes be nerve wracking. I was wanting to send some flowers to a friend for her birthday in the Chicago burbs and saw that Periwinkle got great reviews. I selected 'designer choice' which is something I am noticing now with florist vs. picking a pictured flower arrangement. I am really digging it, since then you are never disappointed that the florist created an arrangement that never turns out like the picture it seems.nnAnyway, the arrangement arrived by mid-day which was perfect and it turned out beautiful! The five star clincher for me was that when I asked my friend if the flowers smelled (since flowers never seem to smell anymore?) and she said absolutely and that they were incredibly fragrant! Flowers can't just look good right? They have to smell good too.nnThank you Periwinkle for nailing it for me, you lived up to the reviews!

The owner was very accommodating with some replacement flowers so I know their standards are high and the customer service was excellent! Highly recommended!

tldr - Absolutely horrid, owner screwed up order, wont admit fault or rectify.nnThe flowers were to be delivered on a specific date, and wasnt. The flower arrangement was easily HALF the size along with not having the correct KINDS of flowers. They apparently accept orders through a third party website, who we called to address the matter. They wanted to pick up the bouquet and replace it with the correct one, but since the recipient had already received them, and they were for the 1st anniversary of the death of their spouse, taking the flowers away wasnt an option. We agreed to a partial refund.nn5 minutes later, the delivery driver came back, told the unsuspecting, grieving widow that they needed to take the flowers back. We caught up to the delivery driver and explained the matter had been resolved and they needed to leave the arrangement, but the driver refused. We insisted they call their boss to verify who proceeded to YELL at us and say they werent taking a $30 pay cut on an order.nnReally?? You're going to 100% ensure I will never order from you again over $30? Over something you completely screwed up?nnNot only was this our first and most definitely last purchase from you, I hope anyone else that buys flowers for grieving widows seriously consider whether or not they want to take the risk.nnIn the event they make any sort of effort to rectify this situation, I will of course adjust this review accordingly.
