I’ve had a cat spayed here, that experience was okay. I thought about having my dog spayed here and was told I needed to have them give her some shots, 4 weeks apart. It seemed like a good deal, at about $120 for the spay and $90 for the two different shot(s). ($210)
I took my dog in for the shots (I give her them on my own but wanted the record from them for the spay service). However, I’m not sure of the dosage they gave my dog because SHE WAS SICK FOR FOUR DAYS. When I went back them, the whole issue was downplayed and the vet said, “I’m just a spay and neuter vet...” and literally turned and walked off.
My dog has NEVER had this reaction to the shots I give her. If you’re comfortable with this type of interaction and service, go for it. You can save a couple of bucks.
I’m now going to take her to a full service veterinarian and it’s only going to cost me $60 more. For me, the difference in service is well worth the care and attention to detail.
The picture on the Freeway Billboard was what brought me in. I think you should add more of those Billboards along I-15 and other freeways and highways. I just saw a cat that would fit perfect in my family and I had to come down and rescue and adopt the cutest and sweetest little kitty boy! Thank you the service was excellent and everybody was so helpful. Everyone was very nice.
This place is amazing. The amount of room and attention and care it simply amazing. On top of that the staff is helpful and friendly. While I don't have room for another cat in my house, I'm looking for a way to donate. Highly recommended
The staff at the humane society of Utah were wonderful! We have a very energetic Husky who can get on people’s nerves sometimes, but they all seemed to match his enthusiasm and were very excited to meet him. He peed/marked 4 times while in the lobby, i think due to excitement, but they were understanding and just mopped it up... hopefully the marking becomes minimal now that he is neutered. Thanks HSU staff.
I love these guys... they care about the animals and the customers and doing what's best for them. They will put the animal's health and safety above your convenience though, so take them seriously. I only wish there were more locations because they're often very busy; however, they do work very efficiently.
