I used to work as a vet tech at an all-cat clinic. My veterinarian retired and I have been searching for quality care. I have found it with Dr. Doub and her team. Other colleagues from my previous employer are now also using Union Park. As to cost, I think they are in line with other clinics. The most important thing is that my animals are treated correctly and with compassion.
I didn't like not being able to go in with my pet (boo to Covid), but I was given multiple updates during the exam from both the tech, and the vet (they came outside to update me), which made it much better. Very friendly staff, very informative, and well-priced. HIGHLY recommend!
I understand Covid considerations, but I was very surprised that I couldn't enter the exam room with my kittens on their visit. A little communication and heads up would have been appreciated. Others who arrived at the similar time as myself were all confused about the set up.
Additionally, I didn't feel particularly educated on the services they were recommending for my pets. I'm a new pet owner and a lot of the words were foreign to me.
Exam was done without me there and I wasn't given the results beyond 'they're all good!'
Staff was very friendly, I just think a little more organization, education and outreach would be helpful.
I needed to get my dog into a doctor ASAP and UPV was able to make that happen. Not only could they see my pup quickly, they were kind and friendly and took excellent care of my girl. We have decided to switch our long-time veterinarian to Union Park.
After spending hundreds of dollars with VCA Willow Creek, only to have them treat my pups like packages on a conveyor at an Amazon fulfillment center, I found Union Park. Absolutely the BEST. If your pets are family, this is the spot.
