I had to put one of my dogs down in April and they were so sweet. Gave us time and privacy. Then today my other dog passed away and I took him here to be cremated. They were very sweet and they are the most affordable in the valley. I was quoted $330 from a clinic in west valley but here did it for $135 getting my fur baby back in a sweet engraved box (takes a few weeks) . Thank you so much for being kind and knowing this is so extremely hard on us.

Yesterday we had to put our beloved dog down for various reasons. We didn't want him to suffer but we also didn't want to jump the gun on anything. From the first call I made they validated my concerns and helped me to feel okay with my decision. When we made it to the vet our dog got a sudden burst of adrenalin making us question our decision to put him down. They let us wait in the roof for 2 hours while we came to terms with everything and weighed our options. They gave us treats and a leash as well. When the doctor came in he was very kind and understanding and we were able to lay with our pup while they put him to sleep. He died in our arms surrounded by love. It was the hardest thing we have ever done but such a beautiful moment. Furthermore, the doctor let me use his stethoscope to hear if our pups heart was beating because I needed the confirmation. They also stamped his paw prints so we could take them home with us. Beyond grateful for Cottonwood Animal Hospital and their love and support. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

I love how this facility is a veterinary clinic and hospital. We had an emergency with our dog where he swallowed a foreign body. We took him to Cottonwood and originally they told us it would be a two hour wait and it was less than that. The staff was understanding and helped us explore options instead of rushing into surgery too quickly and in the middle of the night. We kept him overnight and they kept good care of him and had fluids running through him, which was what solved our problem. We appreciate that they were ready to perform surgery on our dog first thing in the morning even though we lucked out and didn’t need it. Dr. Cox and staff were amazing and saved our very sick dog and I could tell they really cared. Also, this may be a small detail, but we noticed our dog came home with trimmed nails and we appreciate the staff saw it needed to be done and took care of it, which won big points with us because we knew he was under great care. Thank you for such a great experience! We will be coming here as our main clinic from now on.

My dog had a snake bite and they were able to get me in immediately and treat her. Originally we didn't know that she had a snake bite. It was possible that she had tried to eat a bee or a yellow jacket or something. But they were very thorough in eliminating all possibilities and the blood work revealed snake venom. I'm so relieved they told me to come in right away when I called asking about a bee sting in the mouth. My dog had started acting weird within a few minutes. Other vets I called said that if she wasn't swelling up and she was still breathing just to give her Benadryl and not worry about it. I am so relieved that's not the line they took. Because she'd be dead if that's what I'd done. I can't recommend this place enough for their caring approach and how often they kept me updated and how thorough they were. They were straightforward and upfront about the potential bill and they did their best to keep it under the max. It ended up being half what it could have been and I'm very grateful.

We came home and saw our old dog had a stroke. Despite being busy they were able to get us in quickly. They have a separate entrance for us so we didn't have to walk through the lobby, and a very nice room that was quite, clean, and peaceful. Everyone from the staff who answered the phone, that carried our and helped our dog, and the veterinarian, were so kind and thoughtful. Despite our hurting, they gave us all comfort which I think calmed our dog and he was relaxed and not squirming and resisting help like he does at home. They gave us ample time to be with him before and after, and the process was calm an serene, especially for our old dog who normally would have panicked. Thank you Cottonwood Animal Hospital. We have been coming to you for years, and I just wanted to let everyone know how wonderful they are.
