They are absolutely AMAZING! My dog was diagnosed with diabetes and went blind overnight! My regular vet told us there was nothing you can do and she would be blind forever! We made an appointment with Eye Care Animals they did some tests and then performed a cataract surgery on both eyes...now she can see me again! Amy Knollinger and all her staff are not only so helpful but they actually really CARE!!!! I am so grateful for everything you have done and continue to do for our family!

I took my 11-year-old golden into her regular vet when her eye was bothering her. They told me she had a corneal ulcer and may lose her eye if a specialist didn't see her right away.
Eye Care for Animals was able to see her and give her the procedure she needed the next morning. My baby's eye already looks 10 times better than it did just a few days later. They did a fantastic job cleaning up the job her regular vet did during a mass removal on her lower eye lid, too. I'm so impressed with how professional, knowledgeable and caring the staff and the doctor were. Thank you so much!
They took our dog in right away, despite not having the availability, due to the emergent nature of his situation. They worked for a few hours and were able to find the problem, correct it, and send us home with the necessary medicine to help him get better. They were kind, knowledgeable, and had nothing but nice things to say about our dog. It was a terrifying situation to find ourselves in, and we’re feeling very grateful to have found ourselves here, getting the help and reassurance we needed. I’d recommend them to everyone.
I don't know what we would do without Dr. MacLaren and her wonderful staff, especially Kami! We have had 2 dogs with eye issues and although Dr. MacLaren is always busy, she finds the time to be available, compassionate and kind to both our dogs and us, and explains things in a way that a layperson can understand. We are so grateful she practices here in Salt Lake! We could not be luckier to have someone with such a great heart and brain!
