I had a horrible experience with their staff. (Debbie to be specific.) In their video, they advertise that they travel from SLC to Provo to do surgeries. So I called to find a vet clinic where I could have my dog seen.
From the start she was abrupt with me as if I was disturbing her. "Where do you want to be seen?" I explained that I would take my dog to whichever clinic they preferred and asked if they could either tell me of a clinic in my area or send me a list. "I don't have a list. You tell me where your dog is seen and I'll tell you if we go there. I don't usually deal with individuals like you. I usually get contacted by the clinics."
After darn-near begging her, she finally gave me the name of one clinic in Saratoga, who I called and scheduled a preliminary appointment, then called her back as I was instructed to do by the clinic to check on times.
While I was trying to explain what the clinic had told me she interrupted with "What date?" I tried to reply, and she interrupted again, literally yelling. "What date? What date? Never mind, I'll look it up again on my calendar."
When I asked why she was being so short with me, she said "I'm not being short I remember your call very clearly.
in the end, I can't feel good about leaving my dog at a facility where people like that will be caring for him.
The only reason I am rating this Vetrinary facility one star is because the receptionist was very kind. Other then that I did not have a good experience at all.
Went in for the vet to look at my large limping dog.
The vet was very stand off-ish, didn’t give me any explanation of what he was seeing during the physical exam. And once I received the bill. We went in for just a consultation and exam. And I was also charged for a 125 dollar X-ray I NEVER!! Was told about or even was mentioned during the visit.
And to make it worse my previous normal vet and done a full! X-ray of her whole body and parts! For over 300 dollars And emailed them over a week before our appointment. And if he had to do another X-ray obviously he didn’t care enough to look at those.
I am a collage student and not rich so that was very irritating and unprofessional. I wouldn’t recommend this location. Find another vet office who cares about your animals and clients.
Dr Becker saved my dogs leg. He was hit by a car and the emergency AVC clinic in Salt Lake City told me my 4 month old Australian Shepard’s leg would need to be amputated and I should do it immediately. Brachial plexus injury in his front left arm. After seeing 3 different vets over a 3 week span, all said he would likely lose the leg and there was nothing I could do. Then I took him to dr Becker and everything changed. He was clearly far more knowledgeable than anyone I had seen and told me while there’s no guarantee, I should absolutely not amputate until I gave him a chance because he still had feeling in his paws and there was still nerve function. He did a few more tests and was very informative and honest about everything. After a lot more advice, he suggested I take him to alta dog rehab which I also can’t recommend enough. After 6 months he had almost fully recovered other than a slight limp. He’s now going on 3 and you’d barely ever know he had an accident. And it all cost me a hell of a lot less than if I’d listened to the others and had it amputated. Vets don’t get much better than dr Becker.
Took great care of my poor dog and her busted up ccl and meniscus. Super nice staff and Dr. Thanks you so much!
Dr. Becker made a great impression on me. It was assumed my cat needed surgery on his leg. He advised me that it would be a waste of my money that he could of easily done it. I appreciate the HONESTY! You don't see that in this day and age. Thank you!
