I rented items for my wedding and they were absolutely gorgeous. However; our experience with Trista was beyond unprofessional. I had arranged to pick up items the day before my wedding so that we could set up early. We rented 80 chairs and 4 farm house tables, my fiancé at the time and family went to pick it up and Trista showed up with no mask, barefoot, and looked as if she had just rolled out of bed and showed up at 9:45am when they are supposed to open up at 9:00am. We were then told all of the items were in Durham and would take until 2:00pm for them to get them together.. no problem. However, they ended up not getting there until 3:45 and we had a rehearsal dinner at 5:00pm. It was the most frustrating and unprofessional experience ever. The rentals are gorgeous but if you can, do not work with Trista.

We contacted Petal & Oak with less than two month's notice before our wedding, due to last minute changes caused by the COVID restrictions. Shelley was very welcoming during our initial call, she asked lots of questions to make sure she captured what we wanted, and made cost concious suggestions which were really appreciated. She was very communicative and flexible with our requests throughout the process. Though we couldn't have the outdoor wedding we wanted, Petal and Oak did a great job converting a garage into a beautuful Chapel.

From florals to their rental choices, everything they combine has a consistent flair that is refreshing. Easy to work with, responsive, generous, and talented. What more could you ask for?

Petal and Oak did our wedding ceremony and reception flowers as well as ceremony and reception decoration at The Cotton Room. We enjoyed working with their floral designer Joseph. Our contact Amalia was prompt and helpful with the many changes we made to our order. Our flowers were romantic and coordinated well with our decorations. Our ceremony decor was sheer drapes with vines running with the fabric, and could not have been a more beautiful background to our life together. The reception table centerpieces and grapevine ball lighting for our reception were well designed and gorgeous. We’re very grateful to Petal and Oak for the time and effort they took to make our wedding so beautiful.

Petal & Oak has an amazing inventory of items for any type of special occasion. They were attentive and very friendly to work with. Joseph made my flower dreams come to reality. I received sooooo many compliments on my bouquet and spray for the copper arbor. Joseph promptly dropped off my bouquet and had everything set up for our wedding. I would definitely recommend them for your special occasion.
