Super helpful and really improving my dog's quality of life !

Thank you to Dr. Oertley and the entire team at Cohutta Animal Clinic. Our 14 year old Cocker Spaniel has had health issues for the past 2 years that other vets just said was part of getting old. Dr. Oertley recognized the symptoms, correctly diagnosed her with Cushing Syndrome and prescribed new medications. What a drastic improvement in our dog’s health!! She’s engaged and interacting like a much younger dog again. We thought we might have to put her to sleep but instead she is happy and alert again. Thank you for giving us back our little girl!

The staff is extremely kind to both animals and owners. They do exotic animals for which is why I took my rabbits. They stay very busy and don't always except new clients because they focus on quality care. Also I found them affordable which was an after thought but also helpful. They truly want what is best for the animals they see and treat.

Kudos to Cohutta for their professionalism and care for our animals. My cat was being treated for a urinary obstruction at a local pet hospital and I need prescription food immediately to stop a recurrence. With prescription in hand, I was turned away from a vet in a different town that had the food because they had not seen the cat (he was hooked up to a catheter at the hospital). Cohutta was accommodating and very kind to me during this stressful time. It clearly showed they cared about our pets. If I lived in Blue Ridge, there is no question I would use Cohutta Animal Clinic.

I cannot express the appreciation I have for Cohutta Animal Clinic. The whole staff showed genuine love and kindness to me during the loss of my dog on Wednesday. I felt their kindness and concern for my dog and me. Then today I got a call that they had made a plaster mold of her foot print. They went above and beyond. ❤❤
