2020 Update: after coming to KMVS for 7 years we are ending our visits. Prior to 2018 we were receiving great care from Dr. Underwood and team, but we have had a few mishaps, one major one that has pushed us away for good.nnThe initial issue was with our German Shepherd, Zeus, who we were bringing in at an abnormally young age for hip issues. After bringing in Zeus on two different occasions, both being sent away for ‘common hip displaysia’, we visited for a third time and this time an MRI was finally recommended. After gettting an MRI at Bush Veterinarian, we found out Zeus had Degenerative Myelopathy. This went for SIX months undetected by KMVS before finally referring us to Bush, where we finally found out the actual problem. That’s six months of rehab, therapy, and insight to help prevent Zeus from passing so soon. This is unforgivable for us as a mere referral months earlier would have improved Zeus’ last year’s quality of tremendously.nnToday however, we get called after our cat’s vet visit and get asked to pay a bill that didn’t sound right. We take care of our pets no matter the cost, so an overcharge could easily happen and no one would catch it. In this case, we got called being asked to pay $600+ for a $200 pet visit, and if we didn’t ask for clarification, the charge would have gone through. With that, we are ending our business with KMVS, and this is a textbook example of what happens when a business grows too big for their own shoes. I’m afraid KMVS has forgotten where it came from, and the service we have received is indicative of that.i

The absolute best of the best. My toy poodles have been seeing Dr. Emert since they were 8 weeks old, and I have no doubt she truly cares about my dogs. Today, I found out my youngest (3 lbs) is pregnant ud83eudd30ud83cudffc I laughed and cried, and Dr. Emert was very reassuring that she’ll be okay. Ultimately, I trust her with my girl, so I’m continuing the pregnancy more at ease. Their prices are also very reasonable for the care they provide, as well. The best place to go if you want a place that cares about your pets.

My dog had a mass removed from her gum here. It was expensive. I never met the vet. The tech delivered her after surgery, handed the leash to me and walked away. I had to ask the receptionist to speak the him again to find out what exactly they had done, her after care etc. I was put off by the care we received. The only redeeming quality that is bumping my review to 3 stars is the vet called me to apologize and gave me his number if I needed anything.

They have saved my dog so many times from Addisons crisis. They are the best vets in the area! Caring and compassionate!
