We are very happy with pet care we get @ Carroll County Animal Hospital. We have been taking our pets there for many years & have never been disappointed. We highly recommend them.

Tonight we had an emergency with our dog, where her nail was torn off at the very front of her paw. This place was about to close and when I walked in they said they would go ahead and see her. Great staff, great vet, great all around. My family thanks y'all. Wonderful experience

Our sweet doxie mix hurt her back somehow. We took her in without an appointment and got seen quickly. The vet and assistants were so kind, attentive, and knew exactly how to fix her up. We are making this our vet home from now on. Thank you so much.

My dog ate an entire stuff toy (not shredded, ate it whole) and we realized it within 5 mins of him eating it. I called the emergency vet on Thornton road and they said the charges would start at $300-350 for a visit and X-ray. I called Carroll County Animal Hospital and the gentleman on the phone asked how long it had been and said to bring him and they would evaluate since it was such a short time ago. He was extremely nice and professional. Upon arrival we went back very quickly. The vet (Dr Rogers) and the tech (I think her name was Lucy) we’re so nice, easy to talk to and loving to our dog. The Dr said if they did an X-ray then a soft toy wouldn’t show up so they would induce vomiting with a shot and it should come right up. We were literally out of there in 20 minutes and it was only $131. I can definitely say if I need an emergency vet, CCAH will be my first choice.

Our cat was recovering from a potential life-threatening illness and was supposed to be ready for us to pick up and take home. Because of chaotic confusion among the young staff, my family and I (two children) waited for over an hour to finally retrieve our cat, who had apparently also been waiting for a long time in her travel carrier in a hot room. No one kept us informed about what was going on. I am furious about this situation after spending hundreds of dollars to safe the life of our beloved pet! I don't know what was going on between the staff and vet on duty but this experience was aweful and totally unacceptable.
