Beyond the obvious reason that it's free is that the cost for whatever medicine, shots e.t.c is by comparison to a vet hospital very affordable. The line there is always long, so either arrive real early to wait a while or arrive later to wait a long while. Staff is friendly and caring.

My cat needed his annual vaccines, and I decided to try the clinic out. It's a first come, first serve clinic, so I arrived around 11:15 (45 minutes before it opened). There was already a line and I was number 7 to have arrived and was able to see the vet at ~12:45. He was very thorough and professional. I will definitely be returning, but make sure to bring a book or something to keep you busy while you wait!

Wonderful staff! I brought my cat in w/an eye infection today. I was so worried plus going to the vet for something simple can = hundreds of dollars. I found Merwin Clinic online and was so lucky to see they are located 5 min away from where I live. The veterinarian and staff were so nice! The come out side and keep patrons waiting informed and will bring water bowls out for pets. There was a wait for about an hour an half but totally worth it!! They are fist come first serve opening at noon. Thank you again!

Been taking my pets here for years if you're low income you pay for the meds if needed the vet donates their time and there's always follow-up information they can give you Alternatives of what they can't handle their I always throw $5 into the donation jar because they run as a non-profit get there early and be prepared to wait great place
