If you live in the Alexandria, VA area, I urge you to get your flowers from The Virginia Florist!nnOne of the best experiences I have had as a customer in addition to beautiful/fresh flowers!nnI was born and raised in Alexandria and my family still lives there, however I now live in California. I knew of The Virginia Florist as the place to get flowers in Alexandria and even worked there very briefly in high school.nnWell this week I decided to send my grandmother some flowers and the first place that came to mind was The Virginia Florist. The bouquet that was delivered was a little different/less impressive than what I thought I had purchased - but beautiful and fresh flowers nonetheless.nnAfter receiving an email asking me to review my experience, I decided to call and let them know I was a little surprised with what was delivered. The woman who answered the phone, Pam, was extremely nice and apologetic she said she would speak with the designer and get back to me.nnNo more than five minutes later, the designer, Carol, called me and apologized profusely. She said they would send another bouquet to my grandmother as an apology for the inconvenience.nnNot 45 minutes later the flowers arrived at my grandmothers house, and unsurprisingly, they were absolutely gorgeous and fresh as if they had just been clipped.nnI wasn't even really upset with what was originally delivered, I just wanted to call and let them know that it was different than the picture. But I am happy I called, because this experience made my day. Seriously, I wish all my customer service experiences could be this efficient and pleasant.nnIf you live in the Alexandria, VA area, don't think twice about using any florist other than The Virginia Florist!

i called today for Mother's Day delivery, and they were fantastic. I told them the colors my mother preferred, and what she didn't like ,and I ask them to be creative. I even referenced a bouquet that I saw here on Yelp that i liked! Despite how busy they were, he took the time to create a very full, colorful bouquet that my mother LOVED. I live in Oregon, and I am so grateful they did a great job. I will use them again!! Thank you!!

just made the arrangement for my father in laws funeral. It turned out so perfect! I was very specific and picky about what I wanted and they worked well with me. They were kind and patient and went above and beyond to ensure the arrangements met my expectations!! On such an important day they fully delivered! I highly recommend this florist and they also have a really nice selection of gifts.

Buzzy Bee Flowers has fantastic arrangements for any occasion. My experience with them has been awesome and their service is second to none. They were preparing for a wedding but Tony and Karine took care of my needs and delivered a beautiful set of roses that I was looking for.
