Dr Sager is fantastic. He is kind, knowledgeable, and takes his time to ensure you and your pet feel comfortable. He doesn't put you or your pet through any unnecessary tests. We have been very happy here.

Must read!!nnThis guy is great!! I had my bunny seen by a local vet who told me my bunny would need surgery to remove her eye and I had to pay for 2 prescription eye drop medications. The vet referred me to a few exotic vets around that could do the job. I called each place and kept hearing prices over $3-4k, which only included the procedure not any other extra expenses. So I ended up finding one last person, Sager. I decided giving him a call and it did take more than a day or 2 to reach them but you have to understand they are a small owned place. Just the secretary and him. When I was told the price i couldn't believe my ears, he could do it for less than $500. He wanted to check my bunny first and make sure. So i ended up only paying under $65(I'm almost positive it was $45) when everything was said and done. He check my bunny's eye pressure and everything else the other vet did and he told me my bunny was fine right now. She doesn't seem to be in any pain, her eye pressure level wasn't anything to be concerned about and she didn't need to be on any medication either. He offered to do the procedure if I felt it were necessary because someday in the future she may need it but he found it unnecessary at the moment. I was relieved!nnCan you believe that?!! I payed over $100 for my local vet visit and over $100 for 2 medicated eye drops(thanks to AAA benefits paying the majority cost of them) and almost found myself paying over $3k for an necessary procedure for a single eye removal.nnNeedless to say, it's been about 4yrs and my bunny is still in great health. Her eyes have never been an issue for her. She seems like a very happy bunny. She may be partially blind due to the glaucoma but otherwise she still has both eyes and more visibility than if they had removed them.nnThank you Dr. Sager!! You were informative and thorough! Unlike the countless places I called and began giving up hope! You restored my faith in humanity. Money wasn't your concern and you proved that to me.

Dr Sager is an excellent vet. He is extremely knowledgeable and explains everything thoroughly so that you understand what he is doing, why he is doing it, and how you can improve the health of your pet. Just an outstanding person
