The doctors and the staff alike will treat your animal like it was their own. Their dedication, training, and compassion are second to none. They are the absolute best place to bring your sick pet. They gave our pup more time with us that she wouldn't have had without them. We are so grateful for Cornell University Hospital for Animals.

A gem of a place for all size animal care, especially in emergency situations when all other vets are closed. We were there for an emergency with our dog in the middle of the night. A somewhat hard to find building, especially at night. Staff is very knowledgeable and kind. I noticed they also have larger barn type stables for cows and horses as well as a small animal clinic. Excellent!

Since the hospital is over an hour away, I use a local vet for routine visits, vaccines. My first experience with Cornell Vet Hospital was an emergency situation after my dog ate an adult male sock - the whole thing - as quick as he could. The after hours message from my regular vet advised me to call either Colonial or Cornell for emergency 24 hour service. Cornell advised me to bring him up. So glad I didn't wait. Could only walk him to the door but that's the same protocol my regular vet is using due to covid. Wasn't sure if I would be leaving him or not, but thankfully after an hour I got the call with the good news. Worth every penny and I really could not believe how little my bill was for an almost midnight visit on a Monday night. Less than 200.00. Wow. So good to know Cornell is there when you need them. So thankful

Cornell animal hospital most definitely is all about taking families money and mis diagnosing animals. My experience with them was a horror story. First you never get the same vet so there is no continuity of care for your pet. Secondly they mixed our pets files up with another pet who belonged to someone else. Imagine getting discharge papers and animal history on a pet who wasn’t even yours and much sicker than your pet! Thirdly they misdiagnosed my dog. One vet said she had indolent lymphoma but somehow had an enlarged liver and lymph-nodes that were palpable by touch. However, they ignored her enlarged liver and lymph nodes until it was too late. They started chemo treatment on my dog who was in liver failure all along and then kept her in the hospital over the weekend knowing there was nothing they could do to save her as the liver damage was irreversible at this point. Not to mention they charged thousands of dollars. How could an animal hospital possibly be this cruel. Not to mention she spent the last days dying in a cage. When we picked her up she was lifeless and barely could stand or hold herself up. If your pet is seriously ill please spare your beloved pet and let them die with dignity. I would definitely not recommend Cornell animal hospital unless your looking to have your bank account stolen for endless tests, inappropriate treatment , and a different vet every time you go !

While I appreciate that Cornell offers Services 24 hours a day for animals oh, I don't appreciate the cold feeling of the entire experience. They seem like they're more about money, than caring. Now because of the virus you are not even allowed in to say goodbye to your beloved pet. You have to say goodbye in the parking lot. It's such a cold feeling... you can go into a store and shop for an hour, but you can't say goodbye to your pet. There are a lot of tears shed in that parking lot. Cornell should be more humane.
