My family and I have always taken our pets to storybook for all their vet care. This morning I have an little emergency and need my cat seen by the veterinarian. I waited all weekend to call this morning and have him taken care of. My poor cat is not eating or drinking majorly dehydrated and cant use the bathroom. He is suffering and it is an emergency at this point. They told me since i haven't been there since 2014 that they wouldn't be able to see him for 2 weeks!!!! 2 weeks folks!!!! So since my pets have been healthy and i have not given them money they are just going to let my poor cat suffer. So its not about the patients its about the money . They are heartless.
Very disappointed with Storybrook, we have been taking both our dogs here for years and my dog hurt his leg last night and I called first thing in the morning to get him checked out and they said they had nothing until tomorrow at 3:30 because he is a little past his annual exam so he will need that as well, I explained to them that he was in pain and again was told they had nothing available until tomorrow because of exam. We have spent a ton of money here for our dogs and we were told that we would need to go to an emergency vet if we wanted our dog to be seen sooner. So basically since my dog was a little past due on his annual he can’t be seen, we are talking a couple months too. I have always had a great experience here and I don’t know if the receptionist was having a bad day or what but it was clear that our animal was not a priority therefore we will not be going there again and will be moving to a new local vet.
