Been going here for the past 12 yrs. Staff used to be so thoughtful and helpful. Now all they do is throw up barriers on why they can’t write prescriptions for my dogs for heart worm and ticks/fleas. Tell me they need appointment for heart worm test or waiver to give prescriptions. Then I make appointment and they still can’t get me prescriptions. So I offer to sign waiver and still can’t give me prescriptions. Telling me it’s only a week until the appointment so I can wait til then. Like I don’t have things to do?!? And these aren’t controlled substances!!! Stop giving me the run around! Make up your mind! Just trying to take care of my dogs!
I had high hopes for this vet clinic based on older reviews awhile ago. However I have not had a good experience. The prices for the services provided such as check ups do not seem fair. The worst part is the customer service- the office seems clueless and disorganized. I have been asking for prescriptions for flea and tick meds they have been dragging their feet in providing. Finally they give me the prescription but won’t verify it with the online company I am ordered from. Hard to believe they have our pets best interest in mind when flea and tick season is here and they are the sole reason my dogs have missed a pill. I’ll be taking my dogs elsewhere in the future.
Over the past 45 years my parents took all of our family pets to South Towne Vets. We have always been very satisfied with the care and treatment of our pets. I recently brought my new puppy in for her first vaccines and again, South Towne has treated my animal with loving care and kindness. The staff are always friendly, supportive and if they can't answer your questions they will it for you. I would have given them a 5 star rating if I could have accompanied my puppy inside for the visit. But I guess it is good thing being safer during this trying time of covid. So 5 stars ud83dude09
I would definitely recommend them for your pets my four cats and two dogs all go to them and they're very good with every single one of them
Just switched to this veterinary hospital and am so happy I did. Every person I interacted with was beyond friendly and welcoming and it was clear they love animals. I feel like I found the best place for my dogs and am so happy we switched.
