Barnside Veterinary Hospital

I'm very satisfied with the service provided at Barnside Veterinary. My most recent experience was the sad loss of a pet. We contacted Barnside to take care of our rabbit, which to some, might seem silly. But he was a beloved family pet and Barnside handled our situation with the utmost compassion. They treated us so kindly, and I appreciated it very much.nOur other pet, a dog who is deaf and who has an enlarged heart and liver, is basically living on borrowed time. But I truly believe that her care has extended that lifespan. They keep a close eye on her and regulate her medications very carefully. You will not be disappointed in the service provided here.

We unfortunately had to put down our beloved Butchy Boy about a month ago - today would have been his fifteenth birthday. If we believed other veterinarians, he would not have made it past five. He was having problems with seizures after a few years old, and other pet professionals offered no help or options for us. Thankfully, Dr. Sharin and the rest of the amazing team at Barnside suggested medications that gave our canine companion many more quality years. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Sharon and the Barnside staff. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and kept you informed every step of the way, from simple annual checkups to addressing other ailments that popped up along the way for Butch. Their consistent and compassionate care was second to none. Although our hearts are broken over the passing of our beloved Butch, Dr. Sharin and Barnside will certainly be our go-to vet when we add another furry friend to our family.

I do not like this hospital . It's like they took a class to be nasty. I believe they like to overcharge.no good

My family has been using Barnside for years. While Dr Sharin is a knowledgable vet, she is not a great communicator. We have been trying to get an application processed to rescue a pet from one of the local shelters and needed the doctor just to simply make a 2 minute phone call and communicate that our current pets are up to date on shots. She has failed to do so on several occasions and we lost the chance to adopt the pet of our dreams. The local rescues also know her for notoriously declining to call in a timely manner or make it a priority even for her most valued customers who trust her with their pets. Very sad and such a shame that a quick phone call couldn’t be made to help rescue an animal. Will be shopping for other vets.

Staff is very informative and very nice. Care was excellent.
