No compassion whatsoever, and felt very rushed. We mentioned urn necklaces while we were picking out our urn, but no options were provided by the director. Come to find out, when we actually picked up the remains of my sweet mother, another person that worked there gave us a brochure where we could have had a keepsake made with a fingerprint. A little too late don't you think. We must not have spent enough money to be treated decent.

Even though this was a very trying time for me and my family, I can honestly say that I had a wonderful experience with Metz Mortuary. Paul H. was professional and patient throughout the process of making funeral arrangements for my father, and it seemed like he genuinely cared about us. I went into this not knowing what to expect, or even what I was supposed to do at times, and again, Paul H. was informative, compassionate, and extremely professional. He helped make this tragic experience a little easier to bear, and for that I am grateful.

There are places that care, and then there are places that try to rip people off during the loss of a loved one. And when you confront them about price gouging, they turn and walk away. Like everything, it's all about the money.
