Livingston Butler was the funeral home we chose when my parents past away. We were treated with kindness and compassion during the time of need. We appreciate everything the staff did for us.

We was very impressed with Jake and Pastor Paul. With us arriving a few days before my mom's Celebration of Life, they did not have that much time to work with. We told Jake what color flowers my mom liked. The arrangement was beautiful. Jake helped Pastor Paul getting mom's urn and flowers out to the cemetery. It all went smoothly. Thank you!

I want to thank the whole staff at Livingston Butler Volland Funeral Home in Hastings. Having had my dad pass away has been one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to go through. The staff was over the top kind and they took their time in explaining what needed to be accomplished, it really took the pressure off of us. We were given guidance, we were given love and compassion, and we were given directions every step of the way. My family met with John who organized us & everyone involved, and Elizabeth followed up by extending grief counseling options. The extensive planning from the beginning through to the end, the big and small details, they were all considered and covered. It takes a caring team of experts to handle funeral arrangements and I would highly recommend their team when your need arises.

Everything was very overwhelming following my husband's sudden death, but Shelbi was a great help to us. It was very comforting to have so many things taken care of for us, and she made some very helpful suggestions when we did not know what to do. The team at Butler Volland took away many of our concerns and made the process as stress free as possible in a very challenging time for my family.

John and his staff’s compassionate care helped us in our time of grief. They made sure every detail was met to honor our loved one.
