We were very disappointed with the funeral manager who was given to us for the arrangements. Ken did not come prepared to our meeting and without the computer program he would have not been able to make the necessary arrangements. We were not offered personalized cards for the service or a chance to pick out a verse for inside the card until we asked for it, then he shoved a book in front of us with a few verses and acted as if we were asking too much from him. I still am not sure that we were charged correctly based on our Mom's prearranged decisions.

Gorsline-Ruciman funeral home in Mason was great. They are knowledgeable about the funeral process, caring for what I am going through. And made very good suggestions as to how to keep the funeral with in a reasonable budget while fulfilling my wishes. I highly recommend them.

We were greeted very kindly with a fresh pot of coffee and a comfortable place to sit as we arrived early. The staff was very helpful with suggestions at the grave site for flower placements to make everything beautiful. They helped us stage pictures of our passed loved ones as well so we could honor them also. They were very compassionate during a hard time not only because we lost our mother but also because it was a pandemic.

I don't have much confidence in your business. My husband died over a week ago and I came to your place the afternoon that he died. It is now over 9 days since he died and I don't know if he has been cremated yet. I don't know if the director has contacted the life insurance company to get his payment, I don't even trust that the man I talked to contacted Social Security or if I have that to do also. He told me that he would contact the VA for me but didn't do that, I had to take care of that myself. I can do all that I need to do for myself but if I'm told by someone that they will do it I expect it to be done.nnMy family has only used your company and the Ball Dunn company for our funeral business but I don't think we will be using it again. I have been very disappointed in this experience besides burying my husband.

I really didn't want to make funeral plans for my Brother on my own. I worked in high school in the Ball-Dunn funeral home and I learned respect for others, a work ethic and how to be a professional. That is so important in your business and it really puts people at ease when you think of every need. Thank you. Now that we are having to postpone funerals until we can gather again, this is stressful for all, but you are handling it well.
