It's hard to handle the death of a loved one even under the best of circumstances, but add into that a global pandemic and travel restrictions that made it impossible to travel back to Maine to manage my mother's final details, and the whole situation could have turned into an utter train wreck. But Amy was fantastic--very compassionate, a great listener, and able to get things done that I wasn't able to accomplish because I wasn't physically there. Riposta Funeral Home is a small, family-owned business that has served Belfast and the surrounding areas for generations--in fact, I went to high school with one of the Riposta kids!nnRiposta Funeral Home is not affiliated with some giant FuneralCorp(tm), so you can count on great service, no relentless upselling, and a compassionate person to guide you through a very difficult time.
