After hours service was terrific.

My dog went in for emergency surgery. (As in immediate surgery or my dog would die) They took him in right away, gave him the surgery and saved his life. When I came in I was pretty emotional and they handled me in a calm manner and made sure I had all the information I needed. Also called about 2 weeks after the surgery to ask questions and they helped me. Good people doing whatever they can to help

Sunday morning at 9:35am on September 29,2020 we come pulling into their parking lot with our very sick and unresponsive and barely breathing 7 year old diabetic bassist hound. They rushed us right in and as the tech was asking us some questions she said she isn’t doing well at all and scoped her up and went into the back. Another lady came in with a clipboard and asked us to fill out the paper. We could hear them working on her. Then the vet came in. He told us what all they had tried and were doing but they had no heart beat. He was in disbelief and was shocked that her condition had done all this in less than 2 hours. He took us back to where they were doing CPR and breathing for Lucy. And he checked again and still no heart beat. He asked if we wanted them to continue to try and we said no. They were so sympathetic and caring. It was like they had known Lucy for years not just met her under these horrible circumstances. The vet brought Lucy back into the room and told us we could be with her as long as we needed. After a few minutes the tech came in to ask a few questions and then she also said we could stay as long as we liked. I am not sure how long we stayed with her. But they had 2 more emergencies come in and they still were not rushing us to leave. The tech did come in a few times to make sure we were okay and to see if we needed anything. They made a horrible experience manageable. I went into so much detail because I had read a ton of reviews. And most of the recent ones were terrible. I did not want to go there. But with no other option away we went. And it was a compassionate place to go. I also called the next day to ask a question and the gentleman on the phone was very polite, helpful and compassionate as well. Please don’t hesitate to save your furry family member. Don’t listen to the negative reviews.

Dr.Metzler and staff were wonderful to work with. My mini dachshund had to be kept overnight and the staff kept me updated of her condition. The clinic was extremely busy over the holiday weekend, but they continued to provide excellent care. Grateful for their help.

I didn’t even visit this clinic and they deserve a 5/5 stars! I was worried about my dog and called and they set my mind at ease without going in. I appreciated it because instead of making me pay $120 for an emergency holiday fee on New Year’s Day, they gave me simple advice which solved the problem with my dog. I’m so thankful!
