GAH has been great with my senior cats, transparent about pricing for procedures and always supportive with their health issues. They've gone above and beyond in exploring treatment options and do well collaborating/consulting with specialists when needed. They are also handling the covid outbreak responsibly while still giving critters the best care they can get. I appreciate their compassionate professionalism every visit.

Can't say enough about Grayslake Animal Hospital, Dr. Marion, Dr. Nieze, Dr. Poole, Dr. Jackson and the entire staff. They are professional, knowledgeable, compassionate and true animal lovers that understand animal lovers. Grayslake has been our Vet for over 40 years because they are so good. They are without doubt second to none!nThank you so very much for being there for us from the whelping our liters to the many pups we have had, and helping us make our tearful goodbyes.nYou guys are simply the best!!

I absolutely DO NOT recommend Grayslake Animal Hospital. Even as an established client, the staff and owners felt the excuse that they were “too busy” and “they would get back to us when they could” was acceptable to deny care for our dog who was experiencing respiratory distress. Our multiple pleas for help were dismissed, so we were forced to seek emergent medical intervention elsewhere after waiting hours for Grayslake to get back to us. We were desperate and trusted the vets at Grayslake to get back to us, but while we waited all day, our dog’s condition rapidly deteriorated and she died. After the incident, we only received the repeated excuse of “we were very busy” from their manager and owners. They would not acknowledge any wrongdoing or mistake despite talking to their office manager and corresponding with their owners. They refused every opportunity to admit their negligence. All we received was a “We are sorry this happened to you” type of response, not “we’re sorry for what we did.” There is a huge distinction there that speaks volumes to the type of people they are. Although countless families have had positive experiences with Grayslake, consider this lack of empathy when choosing medical professionals for your family pets. Having this happen to even one innocent dog should be too many. We would have appreciated an acknowledgment of their culpability, but they proved to us that they are business owners above all else instead of empathetic people. The absence of our sweet pup in our daily lives has been devastating; we miss her constantly. She did not deserve to suffer and die in the tragic way that she did.
