I take my dog and my two cats here and the vets are great. Provide great care. Today however, I took my recently adopted pregnant cat to have her first check up. They did an x-ray on her and then charged me $250 along with the exam fee! They did not tell me the price before doing so. When the assistant came out originally to pick the cat up I said she was pregnant and they said that they would do an x-ray. She made it seem like it was included in the exam. I know I should have known better but they should have told me the price before just doing it. A quick exam turned into a $600 visit that I was not expecting. Beware of hidden fees! I have been here before but they were definitely trying to nickel and dime you for everything. Note to owner.. always do a break of bill first... lucky I paid for this ridiculousness. Not returning.

I've been taking my pets to WLV for over 8 years, and have never been disappointed. Whether it's just a routine check-up/vaccine or a more serious issue, the team takes time to listen, research and determine the best possible treatment - they treat my pet as though they are their own. The entire staff is always friendly, professional, take great care of my furry kids, are always on time, whether my appointment is the first or the last of the day. The technicians and doctors are very empathetic, they recently guided us through a very tough experience with care and dignity. I always trust my pets with this team!

The staff here is so pleasant and professional. I'm really happy to take my dog here for anything and everything she needs. The vibe is super positive and inviting, and she actually gets excited to go. I highly recommend West Loop Veterinary Care!

They came to my rescue when I most needed them. While I was dealing with a stressful situation at work with a sick dog, they were on top of my dog's care and took all the weight / stress off of me. It was one less thing to worry about knowing they were on top of it and I had the peace of mind knowing my dog would be alright. They are on the pricy side for a vet, but WORTH EVERY PENNY to have peace of mind and know that they do really care about your dog. Very organized. Very efficient.

So happy I chose West Loop Vet for my puppy to go to from day 1. We've been going there for 7 months now and can't say enough great things. They're always on time, show great care, are amazing with communication and email reminders about all the vaccines he needs for the next 2+ years. On his first visit for his initial puppy vaccines, they gave me a frame with a picture they took of him which was the cutest thing. For his neutering appointment, they did such a great job comforting me and my puppy throughout the process since I'm a first time puppy owner and was really nervous. I look forward to all my future visits with them!
