Sourek Manor Funeral Home

Our whole entire family is very sad with the service we experienced there for my grandmothers funeral. The coordinator was nothing but disrespectful. She had my grandmas information all wrong. Nothing good to say about her at all. On a positive note the owners are amazing I don’t know how they have someone like Isabel working for them because the son is so sweet and happy to explain the process step by step. We were in so much pain for our grandmas passing and dealing with the coordinator made it even worse. I have no words to explain how unhappy we are with her. We are just relieved that we do not have to see her again and now we know where NOT to go and where NOT to recommend. Please do not be fooled she seems very nice until you have to actually communicate with her throughout the whole planning of your loved one. Only reason I give it 1 star is for the son if it wasn’t for him and his parents this place doesn’t deserve even that, all thanks to their coordinator.

Leaving a review for a funeral home is not something I planned on doing this week. Our family used the services for an immediate family member.nFirst and foremost, I must give praise where it is most due and that is with the Office Manager, Isabel. She truly went above and beyond to facilitate the painful navigation of planning a funeral for a loved one. Her professionalism with added sensitivity and knowledge in her trade allowed for thorough communication of what was to be expected throughout the whole process and what our family needed to prepare for. Isabel made herself available in person, via phone and through text without ever making us feel like we were a bother or a nuisance. If there was a question she couldn't answer at the moment, she didn't just make up an answer or say she didn't know, her response was- I will find out and get back to you; and she did. Truly, our family was so impressed with Isabel.nAs far as the facilities are concerned, the area for refreshments is very large and completely seperate from the chapels with a lot of room for standing, a couple of sofas and some tables and chairs. There is a microwave and refrigerator that you can use. The bathroom were adequate and clean. The parking was ample and next to the building. In the chapels, the main sofas for immediate family could use some updating; they weren't uncomfortable as much as they were dated.nOverall, we would recommend using the services at this funeral home; mostly because the Office Manager, Isabel was truly wonderful to work with.

I had never had to experience the death of a family member first hand. We chose this funeral home after looking at a few others in the area. Our family could not have been more pleased by how the Sourek family had taken care of us. From beginning to end, they helped us with so much after the death of my father. They were easy to talk to and so helpful from our first meeting. We could not have been more pleased with the services!
