I found Mr. Bates and his services to be subpar at best. My family spent roughly three days asking for the remains of my grandfather, Mr. Bates always had some piss poor excuse as to why his remains weren’t ready or available. “Life of a funeral home director is ever changing” this is the condescending phrase that I had the unfortunate pleasure of hearing from Mr. Bates.nnAfter confirm with Mr. Bates my arrival time to collect my grandfathers remains-Mr. Bates kept me waiting a little over ten minutes. During that time I could hear Mr. Bates laughing and talking with his cohorts and eating doughnuts( he greeted me shoving a doughnut in his mouth).nnI would strongly urge you to use another funeral home to handle your loved ones.
I call Mr. Bates a friend. He gave the best service for my brother in law. He helped my sister with great compassion, empathy and sympathy thru out this process. Death is not easy but you, Mr. Bates are AWESOME AT WHAT U DO! We pray God's blessing over your household. Luv u my brother!
