I cannot say enough about the beauty of the custom arrangement that Ashland Addison Florist Co. made for my mom. My mom is in hospice at Rush University Medical Center (JourneyCare). I called the flower shop in the hospital and asked if I could request a custom arrangement to be sent to my mom as I had specific flowers that I wanted included in the arrangement. April (an Ashland Addison employee at the hospital flower shop) took detailed notes and relayed them to the Design Center. Within a couple of hours, this BEAUTIFUL arrangement was delivered to my mom’s room. EVERY single flower (and the eucalyptus leaves I requested) were included in the arrangement. The arrangement was exactly what I requested yet more beautiful than I could have hoped for. Everyone that walks into the room comments on the beauty and the lovely fragrance that fills the air. My mom (who had been unresponsive all day) opened her eyes and smiled (BIG). Days later, they are still fresh and smell just as lovely. I had never heard of Ashland Addison Florist Co. before my mom’s stay in hospice. They will be my go to florist in Chicago from now on. They are professional and compassionate and wonderful artists. Got some flowers for a colleague of mine and the florist Alex went above and beyond in terms of putting together a wonderful floral bouquet and delivering it despite the various obstacles in getting it to the customer (not related to the florist). Really appreciate their help in brightening the day!
April is the best. She stayed late to put together a very unique and beautiful bouquet for my niece who had just given birth. She pulled together all sorts of beautiful flowers and created the most gorgeous collection of flowers. Thank you April.
