These people came together for me at the worst time. My parents had prearranged funeral at Harpeth Hills. It was just the casket and opening and closing. We used Harpeth for my dad but even with that the funeral was still $10,000. When my mom passed last month hospice called Harpeth Hills and they came and got her, only to find that they had no record of her prearrangements and acted like I was trying to pull something over on them. I called Dickson funeral home and they went and picked up my mom after I paid the pick up charge to Harpeth Hills before they would release her. They even met me at the Fairview Chapel to take care of the arrangements. They were so wonderful. We had a graveside service on a gorgeous Sunday afternoon. Everything was perfect. And moms funeral was a lot cheaper than my dads even with his prearrangement, 9 years ago.

They have always been nice to me and my family

Just a little over 10 years ago, my parents went to Dickson Funeral Home and pre-planned both of their funerals including picking their own caskets and the way they wanted their service to be. My mother passed away on April 3, 2018.nFred and Rick came to pick her up at her residence, they were very professional, compassionate and patient with our mother and our family. Although everything had already been planned, there was still a few details to take care of and Ms. Lois was great to work with. Rick and Jake did an amazing job getting my mother ready and I was allowed to help with some minor, final details and for that I am so grateful. My mother's visitation and service were at the Fairview Chapel and Ms. Bonnie was the absolute best from beginning to end. Most important of all is that my father, the love of her life was so pleased. Warning! Warning! Do NOT use this funeral home!!! I beg of you read this.... this place is so crooked that they charged my friend 2x the amount in Dickson than they did my family in Clarksville! Big surprise for those that don’t know...Dickson Funeral Home and Gateway Funeral Home are owned by the same person! Check the prices of this place and Gateway Funeral Home in Clarksville! You will be sick to your stomach when you realize that these sleezeballs are taking advantage of grieving people during a very vulnerable time! So sad that people can’t even trust a funeral home!

Dickson funeral home was so kind comforting, caring,and assuring to the Mcgee family during our time of loss,are emotions ran high,they made such a positive difference with all of the heart broken difficulties we faced.we are forever grateful for their help,,would highly recommend them in this time of emotional grief to help when you need help an seeing you through this.
