Visited this flower shop today under the pretense of getting a flower arrangement for my friend’s mom. I walked up to the cash register and inquired with the individual running the cash register the process of ordering an arrangement. I was rudely responded to and told if I could afford the flowers they would take upward of thirty minutes to arrange (which was fine but seriously?)nThis establishment definitely holds pre-existing assumptions about younger individuals and their money allotments. Definitely save your money for a less judgmental establishment.

this arrangement was superb. the overall quality, health and condition of flowers upon delivery was top tier. the customer service was prompt and professional. did my mom cry (on mothers day) out of pure love, appreciation and gratitude, YES! mums the word certainly gets my stamp of approval.

My husband and I owe a huge thank you to Julie and her team at Mums the Word for their contributions that helped make our wedding day so beautiful. Our arrangements were the perfect colors and so very pretty, and my bouquet was spectacular. Our event was on a Sunday, so the flowers were delivered fresh to the venue Saturday and lasted for two weeks after in our home. Julie was so easy and pleasant to work with; I truly appreciated her expert guidance that made it possible for me to make selections that met my vision while staying within our budget. I highly recommend Mums the Word's services!

I am in Texas and had used this florist one time before for my Mom's flowers when she was in the hospital. That time I called the order in. Since I had good service I decided to use them again and went to their website and decided to use their on line service. I ordered flowers for my mother's birthday 3 days in advance of when they needed to be delivered. I asked for early morning delivery if possible. I received a detailed confirmation with a confirmation # via email immediately. When by 3PM on Mom's birthday I hadn't heard from my mother I decided to call the florist to follow up. The rep for Mums The Word had no information about the flowers. After 30 minutes of waiting to hear back I called again. They let me know they had turned my mom's order over to another florist rather than turn down the order. The other florist shows flowers were delivered mid afternoon but Mom still hasn't received them as of this moment. I told the Mums The Word rep I had worked for a florist for 8 years and when we couldn't accept an order for any reason we turned it down, never passed it to another florist without the customer's knowledge, she replied they were trying to help me by not turning it down but giving it to another florist. A florist who's work I'm not familiar with. I saw no indication on Mum's The Word website they would pass orders to other florists. I'm sharing this to warn others to ASK up front if they are taking care of the order in their shop or passing it to someone else. I won't be using Mums the Word again.
